Rwanda — The Land of a Thousand Hills
Rwanda is a triumph of conservation, safety, and boutique luxury. Compact yet extraordinarily diverse, it allows travellers to transition from vibrant urban culture to high-altitude mist forests and savanna plains in a matter of hours.
Few destinations reward the traveller so generously for so little time in transit. No internal flights, no punishing transfers — just a single scenic road unfolding between terraced hillsides, crater lakes, and rainforest. It is a country you can read in a week and remember for a lifetime.
Every journey we design here is anchored by permits secured well in advance, guides who were born on these hills, and lodges chosen for the view from the bath as much as the service at the door.

Volcanoes National Park
Home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas and Golden Monkeys. Trek through lush bamboo forests for one of the most intimate wildlife encounters on Earth. Permits are strictly limited to eight visitors per family each day, so every encounter stays quiet and unhurried — an hour at close range in the same forests Dian Fossey made famous.

Nyungwe National Park
One of Africa’s oldest rainforests. Experience the thrill of the suspended Canopy Walk, trek habituated Chimpanzees, and discover over 300 bird species. Untouched through the last ice age, Nyungwe shelters thirteen primate species and some 1,000 plant varieties, with tea estates falling away from the forest edge in every direction.

Akagera National Park
A remarkable conservation success story where central Africa’s largest protected wetland meets rolling savanna, hosting the Big Five — Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo. Lions returned in 2015 and rhinos in 2017, restoring the full complement after decades; today a boat safari on Lake Ihema brings you level with hippo pods and basking crocodiles.

Lake Kivu & Kigali
